So far we've been very impressed with the ZA5 scopes we've handled.  These scopes all have a one piece anodized aluminum body, 1 inch main tube diameter, and are waterproof and nitrogen purged to protect against fogging.  The build quality is consistently solid and this model weighs in at a respectable 14.5 oz.  Rubberized magnification adjustment and focusing ring are silky smooth with no rough spots.  This model features the raised rubber ridges on the windage and elevation caps.  These rubber accents, along with the focus ring and magnification ring, make it easier to adjust while wearing gloves.  This scope also features the re-zero feature, which allows you to sight in and then reset the scope turrets to zero, making it much easier to adjust for distance while in the field.  Like all the ZA5 rifle scopes, this inclues a high quality Scopecoat.  

The glass is especially impressive.  The reticle is very sharp, and remains that way throughout the magnification range and even into low light conditions far after dusk.  The color is slightly "warmer" than what we see with the unaided eye.  This is a very high quality scope for the price and we feel it will readily compete with some of the more popular brands, but with a smaller price tag.
