International Customers

If you're reading this page, it's because you're one of our valued customers who resides outside of the United States.  Thank you for taking the time to look over our international policies, and please contact us with any questions prior to ordering.  The satisfaction of our worldwide customers is very important to us.

Some items may be delayed for several days before shipping outside the USA.  We are an authorized stocking dealer for many products, but we also source products directly from several suppliers in the continental USA.  Please be aware that your order may be delayed based on stock availability, shipping destination, method of payment, and customs inspections.  Expedited shipping is available, but wait times of up to five business days are possible.  Once your order ships, it is usually delivered within five to ten additional days.  We strive to offer quick and efficient shipping to our international customers, but we cannot take responsibility for shipping delays caused by situations outside of our control, such as customs inspections or carrier limitations.

International customers who may be apprehensive about purchasing directly from our website may also purchase from us on eBay, where our auctions can be found under our userid OpticsCamp.  Click here to view our eBay auctions.

Export Regulations

International customers are urged to contact us prior to placing their order.  Special regulations regarding the sale of certain equipment (such as rifle scopes, red dot scopes, and rangefinders) can cause order delays and prevent your order from reaching its destination.  Read the section below labeled "The Export Process" for more information.

The Export Process

Some products are considered under special control by the US Department of Commerce or the US State Department.  Depending on your country, we may be required to apply for an export license before we can ship your item.  The process can be confusing, so this page exists to help our customers understand the process of exporting rifle scopes, red dot sights, and reflex sights.

If your order contains items that require an export license, we will contact you with any relevant information and instructions.

We handle the licensing process for our customers. Depending on the destination country, this process can be complicated and time consuming.  There is no additional fee for this service.  However, any order that is cancelled before an export license is granted will be subject to a 15% restocking and service fee.  Likewise, any order that requires an export license that comes back as denied will also be subject to a 15% restocking and service fee.

Import Licensing

You may be required to apply for an import license from your country's government before our export license is approved.  When necessary, we assist customers with the process of applying for an import license.  This is not always required.  We will contact you if you are required to obtain an import license.

Delayed Shipping Times Due to Export Controls

If you reside in a country that requires us to acquire an export license, please be aware that your order may be delayed for up to eight weeks while the licensing process is completed.  We apply for licensing immediately after your order is placed, but once our license request is submitted, it is outside of our control and we are simply waiting for the appropriate government agencies to approve of the export.   This is completely normal.  Please contact us regarding your order at any time to check up on the status of the export license.
