The 8x32 Nature DX is a nice combination of the lightweight 25mm objective models and the better optical quality of the 42mm objective models.  The Nature DX 8x32 has slightly improved light transmission over the 25mm compact models and is slightly smaller and more compact than the 8x42s.  Fully waterproof and fogproof bodies make these a great hunting binocular.  They manage to combine the light weight you'd expect from a compact with the respectable performance of a larger model.

What we really like about the Nature DX 8x32 is that it's just large enough to not feel like a compact binocular.  We've never been huge fans of compact binoculars, because compacts sacrifice in a lot of areas just to achieve a smaller form factor.  These 8x32 binoculars are just large enough to feel normal, without having to deal with a lot of the sacrifices that compact binoculars make.  Optical quality isn't anything to sneeze at either.  They certainly outperform most compact binoculars, and the clarity and light transmission is just what you'd expect it to be.  Sure, this might be another midsize binocular offering in an already flooded segment of the binocular market, but it has its good points.  

The Nature DX 8x32 binocular also includes high quality lens caps, and a very respectable fabric carrying case.  We ignored these binoculars for a while because they just weren't on the radar.  Perhaps we were wrong?
