UTG Tactical OP-2 Rifle Bipod Review

The UTG Tactical OP-2 Rifle Bipod is a slightly larger version of the OP-1 Tactical Rifle Bipod.  This bipod is equally at home on your benchrest rifle as it is on a hunting or tactical rifle.  When precision is paramount, a good rifle bipod is hard to beat.

The UTG OP-2 Rifle Bipod utilizes both steel and aluminum in its construction.  The main body is constructed of high strength steel, the legs are manufactured from lightweight aluminum, and the whole package is covered top to bottom in a matte black anodized finish.  This bipod includes all the necessary mounting hardware to mount to a Picatinny or Weaver rail on tactical rifles, or any hunting rifle with a forward sling swivel.

The OP-2 Rifle Bipod opens to an angle of 50 degrees with spring-loaded legs that extend from a 9.7 inches to 12.7 inches in height, and each leg includes a non-slip rubber foot.  When mounted, the center of the bipod rests 8.3 inches to 12.7 inches.  Each leg can be extended by pulling them out of the housing, and an automatic clutch system engages to keep them extended.  To retract the legs, just push the clutch and the legs will spring-load back into the retracted position.  For heights between fully retratcted and fully extended, a set screw can be utilized to hold the legs at the desired height.  

 Included with the UTG Tactical OP-2 Rifle Bipod is a swivel stud mount, locking nut, and instruction manual with installation instructions.
