The Konig series of riflescopes is Bresser's top offering, designed for hunters and serious shooters. This model Konig has a 1" tube, and like all Konig scopes, a one piece anodized aluminum body and illuminated reticle. Construction is notable; windage and elevation changes are accompanied by an audible click and focus ring, magnification ring, and side parallax adjustment are all tight and precise. Usually this is a pretty good indicator of build quality.
The reticle is what most manufacturers would call a German #4 reticle with illuminated center dot, but Bresser doesn't specifically name their reticles. The illumination is very bright (a feature that spans both the Konig and Trueview scopes), and most early/late/night hunters won't need to use any settings above 5 or so. Glass quality is very good with minimal chromatic aberration and a very clear picture - another characteristic of the Konig line.
The discriminating long distance shooter is probably willing to spend a large chunk of change on a military grade scope. Those who are a little more budget conscious could do themselves a favor by checking out this scope.
Bresser Trueview Konig riflescopes are premium optics with features you'd expect from a scope with triple the price tag. Each Trueview Konig scope includes a body made of one piece aluminum, fully multi-coated optics, hard anodized finish for durability, and variable brightness illuminated dot reticle.
